For Kathy, management in all forms was considered to be the "family business." Small hotel management, apartment complex management and even rooming house management in a repurposed YMCA building was fertile training ground for her career in single family home portfolio management.
A licensed Realtor since 1980, Kathy became a real estate professional in Florida in 1998, and joined Florida Properties Group in 2000. She first worked as a sales agent with no plans to return to the management side of the profession, however she slowly transitioned back to her roots and began helping clients find rentals. In 2018 she was named the Vice President of Residential Asset Management.
Kathy has been a property manager with Berkshire Hathaway for many years and is a member of The National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM®). She earned the Residential Management Professional (RMP®) and the distinguished Master Property Manager (MPM®) Designations, and serves as Secretary for the Leasing and Property Management Council at the Pinellas Realtor Organization. She has also served as NARPM® Florida State Chapter Secretary and NARPM® State Conference Planning Committee Secretary.
Kathy is a peer resource for training and customer care needs throughout the company and helped develop new marketing and training materials for our Investor Services Division. In her spare time Kathy enjoys spending time with her family, drawing, and writing (She's written three articles for Residential Resource). She's also a runner and has competed in 5k and 10k races, half marathons and a marathon.
