The Real Brokerage welcomes its largest D.C. team

D.C.-based Jason Martin Group leaves @properties for The Real Brokerage

The Real Brokerage is celebrating a new addition, with the largest team to date joining the firm. The 20-person Jason Martin Group announced Thursday that it was leaving @properties to join The Real Brokerage.

Based in the Washington, D.C. area, the team is led by Jason Martin and John Coleman.

“Jason and his team possess an entrepreneurial spirit that guides their passion for providing their clients with unsurpassed knowledge of the local market and service excellence that has made them one of the top teams in their region,” Sharran Srivatsaa, the president of The Real Brokerage, said in a statement. “This, along with Jason’s emphasis on creating a positive culture built on teamwork and collaboration, make the team a perfect fit for what we are building at The Real Brokerage.”

Martin has two decades of experience in the real estate industry. In 2005, he co-founded Keller Williams Capital Partners, where he remained until joining @properties in 2018.

Coleman joined Martin’s team in 2015 as a showing assistant, working his way up to managing partner.

“Real is on a path to drive change in the real estate industry. They have created a model that recognizes that agents are the linchpin of the entire real estate transaction,” Martin said in a statement. “It’s exciting for our team to be a part of a company that puts the agent at the top—not only for the way it recognizes and rewards agents for their success, but also by nurturing a collaborative culture that fuels professional growth and development.”

The Jason Martin Group was ranked fifth among large teams in Washington, D.C. by transaction sides in the 2022 RealTrend’s America’s Best rankings after recording 237 sides for $143.9 million in sales volume in 2021. In addition, the team was @properties highest producing team in the D.C. metro area, according to the release.
