NRT Rolls Out Desk, Zillow 3D Home Debuts, ZipLogix Kicks Off Webcast Series
NRT LLC, a subsidiary of Realogy, has deployed Desk, a unified platform that integrates the key products and tools that affiliated agents use. Desk is now available to all of NRT’s approximately 45,000 Coldwell Banker affiliated agents.
Desk automates agents’ mundane administrative functions, such as updating bios and online profiles, syncing contacts across multiple platforms and updating marketing content. From one platform, affiliated agents can access their email, manage contacts, create listing presentations, update their bios and profiles, create and send market reports, view educational opportunities, market their listings through NRT’s proprietary Listing Concierge program, and much more.
Desk is designed so agents can tailor it to their specifications by customizing their desk homepage, adding apps and easily rearranging where they appear, and removing apps they don’t use, ultimately giving agents the flexibility and freedom to make it their own.
Features of the Desk platform include mobile responsiveness, modern user interface, chat functionally to connect with the product support team instantly, first time user prompts to guide agents through the tools, and the ability to assign delegation rights to give product access to team members and agents’ assistants.
Desk was built by The Studio, NRT’s in-house marketing agency and development group.
Zillow 3D Home Tour Now Available
Millions of home buyers and sellers will soon experience immersive virtual home tours with the launch of Zillow 3D Home™ nationwide in the United States and Canada.
Zillow 3D Home is an AI-powered mobile platform for iOS devices that allows anyone to capture 360-degree panoramic photos of a home and easily create a 3D tour for free. Zillow says it has more for-sale listings and rental properties than other real estate sites; launching 3D Home nationwide offers agents and sellers an easy way to enhance their home listings. It also provides buyers with a more authentic, immersive experience of a home and help them save time by narrowing down the homes they visit in person.
“Making 3D home tours available for sellers and agents to capture and add to any listing, for free, in the U.S. and Canada is a huge milestone in our work to make the real estate transaction a more seamless, on-demand experience for consumers,” said Josh Weisberg, Zillow’s Senior Director of Product Development, 3D and Computer Vision. “Previously, 3D tours were only found on high-end or expensive homes, due to the high cost and time-intensive capture process.”
Zillow® initially began field testing 3D Home in January 2018 in select U.S. markets, though Zillow quickly saw strong demand for the technology across the country.
According to the 2018 Zillow Group Consumer Housing Trends Report, 45 percent of Gen Z and 41 percent of millennial buyers find 3D tours or recorded video of a home very or extremely important in helping them decide on their home. Zillow is banking that this trend will increase given these tech-savvy generations now make up the largest group of first-time home buyers.
