CoreLogic Now Offering Tornado Data
Property analytics solutions provider CoreLogic® announced its launch of Tornado Path Maps, which deliver precise damage exposure data from a tornadic event within minutes – an analysis that can take up to two days to complete using other methods. Insurers benefit from the ability to anticipate claims volume and adjuster deployment for streamlined claims processing, allowing policyholders to get the support they need faster than ever before.
Unique to CoreLogic, Tornado Path Maps offers a data layer updated every 15 minutes following a tornado, displaying area probabilities (from 10 percent up to 90 percent) of tornadic damage. In addition to allowing insurance carriers to quickly calculate claims needs, this parcel-level exposure analysis means emergency responders, utility companies, transportation departments and others will be able to quickly determine resource allocation and deployment to begin offering on-the-ground support to the people and properties affected.
“Until now, understanding exposure from tornadoes has been a daunting challenge for most insurers, as typical ground-based observations and reporting are hampered due to infrastructure damage when a tornado moves through an area,” said Curtis McDonald, senior professional product management and meteorologist for CoreLogic Weather Verification Services.
“These challenges can create frustrating policyholder experiences. Our goal with Tornado Path Map is to enable insurers to efficiently and accurately identify customers under duress immediately following tornadic storms, meaning they’re able to assist with communications and swift response to help their policyholders in need.”

BHHS Partners with Adwerx on Digital Marketing Program for its Agents
Brokerage network Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices has joined forces with Adwerx Enterprise to launch a digital marketing program for all of its network members.
The Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Automated Advertising Program powered by Adwerx Enterprise combines the network’s existing marketing platform with Adwerx’s innovative technology to automate digital branding and listing ads. Through the power of retargeting, the program builds agents’ personal branding, while aligning with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices brand standards for effective, always-on advertising.
Once an interested home buyer or seller visits an agent’s website, the personally branded ads will display on the social media platforms and premium websites subsequently visited by that potential client. Whether the agent caters to buyers or sellers, the ads help to maintain consumer awareness and visibility for Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices network agents and the brand overall.
The retargeted ads are executed automatically; no action is required from the agent. The process works similarly to Automated Listing Ads, an original Adwerx Enterprise service that has become the gold standard for automated and customized listing advertising for the real estate industry. Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices will also provide network members with a one-week digital advertising campaign for every new listing.
Every new listing generated by a Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices network agent will receive a week of free digital advertising through Adwerx. The process is again automatic as Adwerx will create listing ad campaigns as soon as the property is publicly listed for sale, and then display the ads on Facebook, Instagram and around the web. Ads will appear to potential homebuyers within a 15-mile radius of the listing and will be customized with property photos and listing details, while also including the agent’s photo and contact information.
