RE/MAX Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: RMAX), parent company of RE/MAX, one of the world’s leading franchisors of real estate brokerage services, today announced that it has acquired First, a technology company that leverages data science, machine learning and human interaction to help real estate professionals better leverage the value of their personal network.

The four-year-old, North Carolina-based technology startup is known for creating the First app, an intelligent coaching platform that makes it easy for agents to identify likely sellers within their own network of contacts. With a focus on helping agents identify future listings, the app prioritizes who agents should reach out to and when, so they may strengthen current relationships when it matters most. It also organizes and consolidates an agent’s database and provides reporting on how much business is both won and lost from within an agent’s network.

“We’re committed to providing our global network of highly productive real estate agents with world-class tools, training and technology, and adding First to our powerful technology suite is the next step in that ongoing journey,” said Nick Bailey, RE/MAX Chief Customer Officer. “It’s the perfect complement to the booj Platform –  our most recent technology offering that helps agents manage their business – and is another advantage for RE/MAX agents looking to grow their businesses efficiently and effectively.”

ShelterZoom, the inventor of Contract of ThingsTM (CoTTM), the next milestone in the evolution of contracts, today announced a partnership with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Professional Realty (BHHS Pro). Headquartered in Mason, Ohio. BHHS Pro is a full-service brokerage with more than $1 billion in annual sales. They will play a major role in scaling ShelterZoom’s reach in Ohio – a key state in the company’s growth plans – by offering among the fastest, most secure and transparent real estate buying and selling platforms in the industry.

This partnership comes as the real estate industry undergoes enormous change fueled by modern technology like blockchain and buyers, sellers and agents who are frustrated with the time-consuming, inefficient and paperwork-heavy process that still permeates the industry. While the majority of sellers and agents have been slow to adjust, forward-thinking brokerages like BHHS Pro are ready to use ShelterZoom’s first-to-market Contract of Things platform to transform their contracts and end-to-end transactions into fully digital, interoperable and intelligent assets.

“We’re excited to get started with ShelterZoom’s blockchain-powered platform for buying and selling real estate and managing documents, contracts and transactions. It’s a truly innovative product that resolves many of the hurdles that slow down the transaction process and make it frustrating for agents and buyers alike,” said David Mussari, Managing Partner at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Professional Realty. “For us, it is all about adding value to the process of buying or selling real estate. ShelterZoom’s platform offers the rare ‘win-win’ situation where our agents can better serve their clients by removing the obstacles to buying and selling properties while, simultaneously, their clients enjoy a more transparent, secure and smooth real estate experience. “

AerialSphere and iFoundAgent partner to provide 360-degree, interactive, immersive mapping technology for websites

AerialSphere, an innovative tech startup creating immersive and interactive 360-degree maps is offering real estate agents the opportunity to add what some consumers are calling an “addictive” online experience to their websites. Partnering with iFoundAgent, award-winning marketing service, and website provider, AerialSphere is transforming the way Phoenix home buyers shop for a home online.

For top-producing Phoenix-area agent Sean Hahn, AerialSphere 360-degree immersive and interactive maps have quickly become a crucial sales tool. The maps are a central component of his iFoundAgent provided marketing platform.

Hahn is with West USA Realty, one of the largest real estate firms in Arizona, with some 2,000 agents and 18 office locations. He leverages the new mapping technology throughout his communications with clients and potential clients. Hahn incorporates links to his 3D maps in automated personalized email offers to new clients for free marketing analysis. For existing clients, he provides links to a map showing the final price on recent neighborhood home sales.

“The first thing that pops up is this giant 3D map showing homes and an indicator showing the final sales price,” Hahn explained. “These maps are interactive and allow you to fly through neighborhoods in a way that feels like you are there. You can see the topography. It’s not flat like all other maps. “In Phoenix, we live in a valley, with mountain ranges surrounding us. We also are a very active community. People hike our mountains or want to ride a horse or a bike through them. These maps are the most powerful way to figure out where a house is in relationship to all of our outdoor activities, from mountains to parks to schools. It’s simply the coolest thing ever,” Hahn said.

More information about AerialSphere can be found on its website, AerialSphere.com, as well as at iFoundAgent’s website, ifoundagent.com. An AerialSphere video demo is available at https://vimeo.com/144810677.
