Realtor.com launches new listing features for agents

Agents can get intel on potential buyers and listings’ performance insights

Real estate website Realtor.com launched “enhanced listing intelligence” with new features that use predictive insights from listings.

According to the statement, the new suite of features will give agents the total number of potential buyers in a local market on Realtor.com and match listings with their budget ranges, based on a buyer’s inquiries on the website.

Agents may also access the top three ZIP codes from which the most interest in a listing is being generated, as well as the listing traffic percentages within a listing’s city, state, and outside the United States.

The enhanced listing intelligence will also give agents insights into their listings’ level of completeness, along with suggestions on improvements like photos or more information on the listing.

The Realtor.com statement says the new features will assess a listing’s performance in terms of engagement from buyers. It will compare it to similar listings within the price range and ZIP code on the company’s website, and then provide a performance score.

On the other hand, home sellers will receive “automated, personalized and customizable” reports that will contain details on how their home is faring on the website.

Local housing market trends, including median days on market, median list price, total number of homes with price reductions, will also be available to agents, the company says.

“With rich insights from Realtor.com about active buyers in their market and how their listing stacks up against others in the area, sellers’ agents can boost their value, make smarter decisions for their clients, and refine their marketing strategies to better target home shoppers and get their clients’ homes sold,” said Donna August, vice president of B2B Marketing at Realtor.com, in a prepared statement.

In June last year, Move, Inc., which operates Realtor.com, acquired UpNest, a company that connects home sellers with local agents.
