Plunk, a platform using AI, machine learning, and image analysis for residential real estate investments, announced its partnership with The MLS/CLAW, a multiple listing proptech in Southern California.
Through this partnership, Plunk can give The MLS’ 20,000 members access to home valuation tools. According to its website, the TheMLS.com platform contains 95,000 active listings and more than 8 million off-market listings.
“Through this partnership, we will provide The MLS’ members real-time access to the most advanced property and market valuation tools — whether they’re on their computers or their mobile phones,” David Bluhm, co-founder and president of Plunk, said in a statement.
Meanwhile, MLS/CLAW members will be able to access a range of Plunk’s offerings like Plunk Home Value, an Automated Valuation Model (AVM) which updates in real time for more than 104 million homes in the U.S., according to a statement from the company.
TheMLS.com members can also use Plunk’s real-time local and regional market insights including median list price, sale and list price comparisons and median days spent on the market.
Along with these insights, members can leverage Plunk’s user-generated tool Plunk Refined Value, which allows agents to edit home details and in turn, refine a property’s value, and the Plunk Remodel Value, which shows a potential remodeled value of a property.
“Now more than ever, it’s important to find new and effective ways to give our members an unparalleled advantage to thrive in this constantly changing market,” said Annie Ives, chief executive officer of The MLS, in the statement.
Plunk president Bluhm also said The MLS has been consistent in its software launches like that of THEMLSPRO, MLS Broker Caravan magazine mobile application and VESTAPLUS.
The MLS Broker Caravan magazine was recently rebranded to The MLS Southern California Homes & Estates, where users can access local and international properties, broker open houses and view property tours.
The VESTAPLUS technology allows users to search listings with the help of interactive maps, use listing modules to edit and manage listings, access a client dashboard and share data, among other features.
Some of the other free tools and membership add-ons The MLS provides include Neighborhood Snapshot, Cloud Streams and MyRental.
