Top performing Northern California-based real estate team Caroline Dinsmore & Co. left Compass and affiliated with Coldwell Banker Realty.
The team, led by Caroline Dinsmore, featured in RealTrends’ America’s Best Real Estate Professionals in 2022, closing more than $102 million in sales volume in 2021. Other team members include Director of Operations Shelby Lovecchio, Transaction Coordinator Kate Maria and Marketing Analyst Rob Jimenez.

The team’s combined experience spans more than three decades. Dinsmore’s professional career includes a four-year stint at Compass and another four years at Sotheby’s International Realty. Prior to these companies, she was a Realtor at Keller Williams and at Coldwell Banker Realty.
The team has sold several homes in Silicon Valley. Dinsmore, a fifth-generation California native, was born and raised in Burlingame, which the statement says helps her navigate the community and understand the market.

In a similar move last month, residential real estate team McNair Group, which was also formerly affiliated with Compass for four years, rejoined Coldwell Banker Realty’s Northern California unit. The team, which has been featured in RealTrends + Tom Ferry The Thousand and America’s Best rankings, is led by Billy McNair and focuses on Menlo Park, Woodside, Portola Valley, Palo Alto, Los Altos, Redwood City and Atherton.
The Northern California branch serves markets from Carmel to Tahoe. Currently, Coldwell Banker Realty has approximately 56 offices and about 4,000 affiliated agents. It is owned by a subsidiary of Anywhere Real Estate Inc.
In December, Ryan Gorman stepped down as Coldwell Banker CEO and Sue Yannaccone, president and CEO of Anywhere Brands, expanded the portfolio of brands she oversees to include Coldwell Banker.
