Running a lean and profitable real estate business is essential in a tough housing market. To help real estate leaders stay on budget in 2023, Gathering of Eagles has assembled some of the top real estate finance professionals to help attendees understand the dos and dont’s of operating costs.
Michelle Ressler is the chief financial officer at The Real Brokerage. Ressler will be the moderator on the panel, “A Fresh Look at Operating Costs,” on June 19.
This panel also includes Jenni Barnett, chief financial officer and chief operating officer of Parks Village Real Estate, Rory Blossom, chief financial officer at Latter and Blum and Phil Price, chief financial officer at Smith and Associates Real Estate. These financial leaders will discuss the benefits of a solid financial plan. They will also give attendees an inside look into remaining profitable in a tough market. Most brokerages have made budget cuts to their marketing and advertising teams to keep their finances on track. Ressler and her colleagues will examine that practice and suggest solutions for operating costs moving forward.
Ressler joined The Real Brokerage in 2020. Since coming on board she has been a key player in the brokerage’s fast-paced growth. Prior to her time at The Real Brokerage, Ressler worked at Canaccord Genuity. While there, she lead financial services, security and wealth management teams. Thanks to her start in public accounting and tax management, Ressler is able to give real estate professionals a realistic action plan to boost margins, invest in the right areas and contain costs.
