Mat Ishbia, president and CEO of United Wholesale Mortgage (UWM) will take the stage at Gathering of Eagles 2023 for his presentation: A Winning Mindset.
Ishbia joined UWM in 2003, following in his father’s footsteps. Back then, the company was made up of 12 employees. In the 20 years since he began, Ishbia has grown UWM into one of the country’s largest wholesale lenders. They now have over 7,000 employees and broke record sales volume in 2019 and beyond.
Ishbia was promoted to CEO of UWM in 2013 and continued his mission to grow the company. He was one of the first in the industry to bring account executives in-house, and he put mortgage brokers at the center of everything UWM does. Ishbia was honored as a HousingWire Vanguard and Rising Star in 20– and 2015, respectively.
At Gathering of Eagles, Ishbia will share his insights on how leaders can remain focused on long-term economic growth, rather than today’s problems. With Ishbia’s advice, attendees will be able to push the boundaries of their business, focus on a winning strategy and dominate the competition.
