The Canadian arm of eXp Realty is shaking up its leadership team. John Tsai has been named president of eXp Realty Canada, according to an announcement from the firm on Monday.
Tsai has more than 15 years of experience in the real estate industry, and he is currently as the No. 10 agent in the Greater Vancouver metro area, according to the release. He was identified and confirmed as a candidate for the role by the Canadian Agent Advisory Counsel in conjunction with eXp World Holdings corporate leadership.
“John brings incredible expertise, energy and passion to real estate, and I know this will translate to his role as President, eXp Realty Canada,” Glenn Sanford, the CEO of eXp Realty, said in a statement. “Over the past year, our Canadian business has grown at incredible rates and we need a strong leader to continue driving this momentum. John is perfectly positioned to do this, while iterating on the unique Canadian agent value proposition.”
In addition to Tsai’s appointment, Nadia Habib has also been promoted to vice president of growth, and Nathalie Goodyer has been promoted to vice president of operations.
In her new role, Habib will focus on the firm’s expansion across Canada, as well as agent attraction and retention, while Goodyer will be charged with enhancing the operations of the brokerage and improving the agent experience in her new role.
“I am thrilled to see Nadia and Nathalie grow with eXp Realty,” Sanford said. “Their collective experience and contributions across many facets of our Canadian business have reshaped agent experience in the country and I am confident in their continued success.”
Last week, RealTrends announced that eXp Realty had come in at No. 1 in its 2023 RealTrends 500 rankings for transaction sides.
