Few companies have grown at the rate of eXp Realty over the past five years. In fact, according to RealTrends GameChangers, which shows that the firm’s growth by transaction side percentage between 2016 and 2020 was 2,418%, based on the 2020 RealTrends 500. Compass is the only company that has come close with 2,395% growth by transaction side percentage over the same time period.
Of course, that growth has to come from somewhere and, according to eXp Realty, it is coming for massive additions of agents. The company reported that it has exceeded 75,000 agents globally, representing an increase of 60% when compared to 46,745 agents in February 2021.
Only Keller Williams Realty reportedly has more agents. A Keller spokesperson says that “Keller Williams is home to 173,274 agents in the United States and Canada and 14,847 agents worldwide.” Both eXp and Keller Williams made headlines last week when a court temporarily blocked former Keller Williams CEO Mark Willis from taking an executive position with eXp Realty.
