Engel & Völkers Partnering with National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals
Multinational relationship will further both organizations’ commitment to inclusion and diversity within the real estate industry.
Engel & Völkers and the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP) announced a multinational partnership, strengthening Engel & Völkers’ commitment to NAHREP’s mission to advance and increase sustainable Hispanic homeownership in America. Anthony Hitt, president and CEO, Engel & Völkers Americas will also serve on NAHREP’s Corporate Board of Governors, which is comprised of industry leaders and serves as an advisory board for the association.
“As a global brand in more than 30 countries, the Engel & Völkers network is inherently inclusive,” said Hitt. “Our multi-national partnership with NAHREP provides an opportunity for our brokers and advisors to not only learn from an extended network of professionals, but also lead conversations around diversity and inclusion within our industry. The growing power of the Hispanic consumer is relevant to every real estate professional, and we must continue to educate ourselves and others to provide exceptional service to all of our clients. ”
While the partnership between Engel & Völkers and NAHREP marks a higher level of involvement between the two organizations, members of the Engel & Völkers network have long been participating through their local chapters.
“My involvement throughout the years with NAHREP as a member and as part of the board of directors of NAHREP Charlotte has empowered me through education, networking and tools to better serve the Latino community,” said Martha Borgese, advisor, Engel & Völkers South Charlotte.
“Latino buying power is propelling the American economy forward; in fact, Hispanics have been responsible for 59% of homeownership growth in the U.S. since 2012, according to the Hispanic Wealth Project and NAHREP’s recently released State of Hispanic Homeownership Report. Given Engel & Völkers’ commitment to inclusion, I could not be more thrilled that our network is supporting NAHREP’s mission on a national level.”
“NAHREP welcomes Engel & Völkers to the association’s network of partners and looks forward to working strategically with them in the coming year,” said Gary Acosta, Co-Founder & CEO, NAHREP.
