David Childers named president of Keeping Current Matters

Keeping Current Matters recently named David Childers to the role of President. Childers was most recently vice president of content and marketing.

According to a press release, Childers will be focused on executing the company’s aggressive growth plans while integrating the company’s research, marketing, and member success initiatives. He will also continue in the role of real estate industry expert and spokesperson.

“I couldn’t be more excited for what David’s expanded role means for our members, crew at KCM, and for the industry at large.” said KCM CEO, Bill Harney, in a statement.

“Over the last four years, David has not only led our team, but also led the entire real estate world through difficult times.”

In his prior role as vice president of content & marketing, Childers grew the company’s research and marketing capabilities to help reach and serve tens of thousands of additional members. He led the creation and launch of KCM’s Social Graphics product in April 2020 and has become a featured thought leader at events and webinars throughout the real estate industry. Perhaps most notably, David stepped up to deliver more than 200 webinars at the peak of the COVID pandemic – bringing calm and confidence to a nervous industry.

“To say I am excited about this opportunity is an understatement.” says Childers “I am grateful for the opportunity to lead as we continue to deliver hyper-relevant insights to real estate professionals across the country. At KCM we have a world class team that is driven by making a difference, and our goal is to ensure every family feels powerful and confident when buying a home!”
