Finnish real estate software company Cubicasa has partnered with UtahRealEstate.com on its floor plan partnership program that launched last December. The announcement comes nearly a month after Cubicasa’s partnership with Georgia MLS.
Through the program, MLSs can access CubiCasa’s free floor plans and receive discounts on add-on features, including fixed furniture details, digital GLA or expedited deliveries, property information and a list of real estate photographers.
“In launching this program, we wanted to further empower key industry participants to include digital floor plans on every listing in the U.S.,” said Jeff Allen, president of CubiCasa, in a prepared statement.
This partnership will allow UtahRealEstate.com to gain access to additional property data or digitized property information, according to the statement, and the MLS will release a listing management feature to make improvements on floor plan usage.
According to the National Association of Realtors’ 2022 Home Buyers and Sellers Generational Trends report, floor plans are the third-most desired listing feature for homebuyers at 55%, with photos (84%) and detailed information about properties for sale (80%) being the most desired listing features for homebuyers.
UtahRealEstate.com provides its services to about 20,000 real estate professionals and almost 96% of Realtors in Utah. It is currently developing this media upload tool to allow users to upload floor plans with listings. Potential buyers can use the feature to gauge the layout of a property before visiting.
“In today’s constantly evolving real estate market, it is important that we provide as much data and information on a property as possible, and CubiCasa is empowering our members to do just that,” said Brad Bjelke, CEO of the MLS.
CubiCasa’s first partnership for the program was with PrimeMLS. Other partnerships include Georgia MLS and New Mexico MLS.
The company launched its free floor plan technology in August 2022. Since then, more than 1 million floor plans have been created. It has also seen a year-over-year increase of 455% in new user signups and a 98% increase in new real estate scans in the U.S.
The technology is currently used in 172 different countries.
