Corcoran Legends Realty acquires Renwick Real Estate

Corcoran Legends Realty was already in an affiliate partnership with Renwick since September 2020

Corcoran Legends Realty, a franchisee of Corcoran Group LLC, has acquired Bedford, New York-based Renwick Real Estate, according to a press release shared with RealTrends on Wednesday. The firm had previously forged an affiliate partnership with Renwick in September 2020.

Renwick Real Estate was founded in 1879 and has been an independent brokerage for more than a century.

Jim Renwick, president of Renwick Real Estate, said the firm had been looking for an opportunity to join a larger brand.

“Corcoran has an impeccable brand reputation and will give our agents access to expand their  elevated services to New York City, the Hamptons, South Florida, and all other  destinations where our clientele reside,” he said.

Corcoran Legends Realty said in a statement that the addition of the firm’s 16 agents and Renwick’s Bedford office will help expand its footprint across Westchester County.

“Renwick Real Estate has served northern Westchester for over 140 years with exceptional service to their clients and outstanding expertise on the  market,” Marcene Hedayati, principal broker and managing partner of Corcoran Legends Realty, said.

The acquisition will bring Corcoran Legends Realty’s total agent count to more than 100 agents. The firm currently has offices in Bedford, Bronxville, Irvington, Tarrytown and Briarcliff Manor.

“We believe this addition will become an invaluable asset to our brokerage, allowing us to continue offering the highest possible  level of service for our clients in northern Westchester,” Hedayati said.
