The Corcoran Group is making its entrance into the Nutmeg State, launching its first affiliate brokerage in tony Greenwich, Connecticut, according to an announcement made on Tuesday.
The new Corcoran Centric Realty will be owned and led by Jeffery Jackson.
“Greenwich is an amazing area that we’ve had our eye on for quite some time now, so to have strong agents joining us who are already very well-versed in the region, and to have the opportunity for our New York City, Westchester, and Hudson Valley agents to expand their referral business is a win-win,” Pamela Liebman, the president and CEO of the Corcoran Group, said in a statement
Founded in 2001 by Jackson, the firm formerly known as Centric Property Group has served clients in Greenwich and the surrounding communities, including Westport, Darien and New Canaan for over two decades.
“Growing our firm and bringing industry-leading marketing and technology to our entire sphere is something I’m very excited about, and we’re eager for this next chapter as Corcoran Centric Realty,” Jackson, who is also a licensed appraiser, said in a statement.
Less than an hour commute from Manhattan, Greenwich has over 32 miles of shoreline, thousands of acres of parkland and over 150 miles of horseback riding trails. It is home to a wide range of properties including estates, luxury condos and single-family homes. Many of these properties have been listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
In December of 2021, the Corcoran Group announced its entry into Texas, when it welcomed the Houston-based Corcoran Ferester Realty and earlier this month the firm announced its entry into Georgia with the launch of Savannah-based Corcoran Austin Hill Realty. Since launching in early 2020, the Corcoran Affiliate Network has added dozens of affiliates across the U.S. and the Caribbean. The brand now has more than 5,500 agents across more than 30 markets.
