Bright, CRMLS launch Nestfully, a consumer-facing RE search portal

The portal's search experience is tailored to how homebuyers search for properties, according to the company

Nestfully, a consumer real estate search portal powered by brokers and MLSs, has officially launched and is now available to millions of homebuyers, according to a statement issued Wednesday. The platform is a joint venture between Bright MLS and California Regional Multiple Listing Service (CRMLS) — two of the largest MLSs in the nation — and is available to residents in nine states.

“We are excited to support MLSs in the development of Nestfully.com,” said Andrew Binkley, President of Constellation1. “With the ultimate goal of providing a smoother real estate experience for consumers, powered by brokers and MLSs, Nestfully.com will deliver the most up-to-date and accurate MLS data to consumers navigating the largest transaction of their life.”

The Nestfully portal was first announced in January and is built to provide potential homebuyers and sellers with accurate, up-to-date search results, according to the company — including just-sold information on listings. The platform is currently accessible on desktop and mobile, and iOS and Android apps will launch in the second quarter.

The portal’s search experience is tailored to how homebuyers search for properties, the company said. Users can search for properties, apply filters based on their wants or needs, and schedule showings through the Nestfully platform.

In addition, potential homebuyers can use Nestfully to ask listing agents questions on properties they’re interested.

“The site delivers the benefits of Nestfully to millions of consumers – with no advertising or hidden fees – and connects them directly to the agents and brokers who know the properties best,” said Brian Donnellan, Bright MLS President & CEO. “We tested this in the Bright footprint while concepting Nestfully in 2021, and we were able to deliver over 30,000 consumer connections – with an aggregate sales volume of nearly $9.4 billion – to brokers and agents at no cost.”

So far, three MLSs have committed to participate: REColorado, BeachesMLS and the MIAMI Association of REALTORS. REColorado participated in the initial launch, and the others will join in the second quarter of 2023.

“BeachesMLS is proud to participate in Nestfully and provide South Florida consumers with the most current, comprehensive and accurate MLS data available,” Dionna Hall, CEO of BeachesMLS and Broward, Palm Beaches & St. Lucie Realtors, said in the statement. “We know that consumers want accurate information, and they want it quickly, and Nestfully provides just that.

With the addition of these three MLSs, Nestfully can count five of the nation’s 16 largest MLSs as participants. According to the company, this will drive “tremendous value” back to the consumers, brokers and agents.

The platform’s technology services are provided by Constellation1, which provides data services and front and back office for the real estate industry.

In addition to the 16 MLSs that have committed to or are participating in Nestfully, the company said it is in discussion with over 12 large MLSs to potentially participate in the portal.
